Venture into a park with that was once used as a military fort

One of the first things you will notice when you step into Daiba Park are the high stone walls that surround it. Standing at 5 to 7 meters tall, these walls are among the remnants of No. 3 Battery, the name Daiba Park was known for back in the Edo period (1603-1867) when it was used as a military battery.

Strolling along the park, you will find other remains such an ammunitions warehouse, an explosives warehouse, and the foundations of a barracks. These days, the park is known for its relaxing views of open waters and beautiful cherry blossoms in spring. It is also one of the best spots to take photos of Odaiba's Rainbow Bridge.
