Also known as the Japan Football Museum, this museum is dedicated to the 2002 FIFA World Cup, soccer’s biggest tournament, which took place in Japan and South Korea. Although its name may lead you to believe it's a FIFA specific exhibition, this space covers many facets of Japan's long history with the sport.
Even if you don’t know much about Japan's soccer scene, there's plenty to keep you entertained. The museum hosts a range of futuristic exhibits, including 3D football game screenings. A highlight of the museum is the virtual stadium on the first floor, which is also open to futsal competitions and seminars. Ask at the front desk for more information on upcoming events.
