Noyamakita-Rokudoyama Park 野山北・六道山公園

Ishihata, Mizuho-machi | Tonogaya | Takane | 3, 5, 6 Hon-cho | Mitsuki | Kishi, Musashimurayama City, Tokyo

Experience the natural beauty of satoyama!

Noyamakita-Rokudoyama Park is one of the largest metropolitan parks in Tokyo. Within the grounds stands a satoyama minka: a recreation of a traditional dwelling complete with an irori hearth. Here you can see how farmers lived during the Edo period (1603–1867). Around the dwelling are paddy fields, ponds, and wooded areas. Events held throughout the year allow you to take in the scenery of satoyama in different seasons. There is also an obstacle course for children.
