Tokyo Restoration Memorial Hall 東京都復興記念館

2-3-25 Yokoami, Sumida City, Tokyo

Tokyo Restoration Memorial Hall was erected after the Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923 on the site where some 40,000 people who had fled their homes, died in a fire. Following WWII, the memorial included 100,000 people who died in Tokyo's air raids.
