Calligraphy Museum 台東区立書道博物館

2-10-4 Negishi, Taito City, Tokyo

This museum showcases valuable cultural properties of historic Chinese and Japanese calligraphy collected over more than 40 years by Fusetsu Nakamura—a Western-style painter and an oriental calligrapher. Browse the museum's collection of approximately 16,000 works, including 12 pieces of Important Cultural Properties and 5 pieces of art treasures, such as bronze ware, scrolls, epitaphs, stationery and Buddha statues.
