Main content starts here.

The Ome City Nohryo Fireworks Festival started in 1948 to celebrate the extension of Toei Bus services into the Ome area. The highlight is the signature “Great Nagayama light up.” Fireworks are ignited on the hill facing the main venue of the Nagayama Park ground. This creates a majestic instant in which the trees appear to glow in the dark. The display of 3,600 fireworks also includes the powerful fusion of music with fireworks, and the dynamic sight of 5-sun shells (measuring 45 cm in diameter), shakudama shells (30 cm), and starmines spreading across the sky.
