The Hachioji Fireworks Display takes place as part of the “Hachioji Festival,” which has been held since the Edo period and is known for its festival floats. This year, the fireworks display will also be an event commemorating the 100th anniversary of the city’s establishment. Masterfully created fireworks and star mines will be launched from the area’s beloved municipal baseball stadium Daiwa House Stadium Hachioji, and visitors will be able to witness the intensity of the fireworks at close range inside this stadium.
