Hachijojima is the southernmost of the seven Izu Islands, located 287 kilometers from Tokyo.
This nature’s paradise enjoys lush vegetation all year round and attracts flocks of wild birds.
Recreation ranges from hot springs and dining to diving, fishing, trekking, and touring “power spots.”
The palm trees lining the street and the bright red hibiscus flowers between May and October enhance the mood of the tropical island.
