Main content starts here.

The Edogawa-ku Fireworks Festival features some 14,000 fireworks that light up the night sky over the banks of the Edogawa River. The electric fireworks are ignited at just the right timing by remote control, presenting a dramatic story that unfolds in eight different themes in sync with music. A must-see is the opening theme, a dynamic signature titled “Great flowers of Edogawa in full bloom,” where a thousand fireworks go off in a mere five seconds. The event is held concurrently with the Ichikawa Citizens Nohryo Fireworks Festival.
