“Live like locals” Apartment Hotel

Among the ways to experience a destination, living in an apartment like the locals stands out. This is what the new “MIMARU TOKYO UENO NORTH” hotel offers from February 8: studio type rooms with kitchens, electric appliances and cooking utensils where guests can live as regular Tokyoites and see the metropolis as its residents do. As there are many authentic Japanese restaurants nearby, order delivery is available via websites. The location is also convenient to visit Tokyo Station and other major tourist spots.

Tokyo Tokyo official Website

Tokyo Tokyo official Website revamped and new promotional videos have now been released! We will deliver the "now" of Tokyo where tradition and innovation intersect. https://tokyotokyo.jp/

Editor’s note

In the same month that I visited HiSUi TOKYO to accompany shooting of the samurai experience, I also had the opportunity to see the ninja experience in the darkness in front of Tokyo Tower. Descendants of the Musashi Clan are allowing participants to try their hand at small weapons (like shuriken throwing blades) and self-defense techniques that have been handed down from their forebears. This is a chance to see how life-threatening the work of the ninja actually was. Me, I’ll certainly try the kunoichi (female ninja) experience next time!
