Machinaka community tourist information is a service where Tokyo tourism volunteers strolling the streets of districts that attract many foreign travelers provide guidance tailored to the diverse needs of travelers and information about attractions in Tokyo. Activities are currently organized in the Shinjuku Station area, the Ueno Station area, Ginza, and Asakusa, with plans for expansion to 10 popular destinations by 2020.

If you ever find yourself wondering where to go, what to do, or what to eat, these tourism volunteers are happy to help. Look for the hat and bag with the “i” mark.
