Make a Lucky Find! End of Summer Sale
The end of season sale offers great discounts, and big shoppers as well as quite a few usually not-so-big shoppers head for the stores around this time. The attraction, of course, is in the pleasure of making a lucky find.
Retailers often hold unique events concurrently with their sale. A number of PARCO’s stores including Shibuya, Chofu, and Hibarigaoka are marking the summer holidays with a “Garigari-kun Festival in PARCO” featuring the best-selling ice pop in Japan. LUMINE’s online store, iLumine, launches its sale at midnight, ahead of the physical stores, and even takes a further 5% off the sale price for customers using the LUMINE Card.
A number of department stores and commercial facilities are holding their sale one or two weeks later than usual this year.
The trick to being a smart shopper is to check when your favorite brands go on sale and decide what types of item you want before you hit the stores. Never rush. Always try on clothes and determine whether or not you really need it. A good idea is to wear clothes and shoes that you can easily slip off and on.
