This route lets you enjoy a hike on Mt. Takao, where you can experience rich nature while still located near the big city. Go up the mountainside in a cable car that boasts the steepest incline in Japan and head for the summit. There are some Yakuoin temples that are the symbol of mountain worship sprinkled over the mountain, so you can visit temples while mountain climbing. Climb to the top while experiencing the rich nature and history of the temples. If the sky is clear, you can see Mt. Fuji from the top.

*This is a hiking course, so please come in clothes and sneakers and the like suitable for hiking.
*The guide service may not be available owing to the weather conditions.
*Depending on the local weather, you may need to stop walking before reaching the summit. In this case, you are encouraged to go back down to the cable car and change your plan, such as visiting the Takao 599 Museum.
*The route may change or take longer owing to overcrowded conditions in May and mid-October to early December.
*You may have time to eat a light meal at the summit. You can purchase snacks or lunch boxes at a shop on the way to the top, or bring them with you.
*The cost of the meal is not included in the tour fees.
