Miyukinohama Beach (Haha-jima Island)

The waters off Miyukinohama Beach are designated a marine park where visitors may snorkel around the beautiful coral reefs. The name Miyuki, meaning “imperial visit,” derives from a visit for collecting plant and animal species by Emperor Showa.

Miyanohama Beach (Chichi-jima Island)

The waters off Miyanohama Beach are shallow for some distance and home to many fish, thus ideal for snorkeling. Take care not to swim beyond the yellow buoys, as there is a current between Chichi-jima and Ani-jima islands.
