Bunkyo Kiku Matsuri (Chrysanthemum Festival) 文京菊まつり

The Bunkyo Chrysanthemum Festival is held at Yushima Tenjin Shrine, which is widely known as the deity of scholarship. Approximately 2,000 chrysanthemum plants carefully grown by flower lovers bloom in the spacious shrine precincts, creating a colorful and overwhelming scene. The focus of the exhibition is dolls made from chrysanthemum flowers (which are unusual in Tokyo) and skillful potted plants known as "Ozukuri," including dome-shaped displays, chrysanthemums that look as if they are "falling" from a cliff, and tray landscapes. Why not visit to spend a relaxing time gazing at the beautiful chrysanthemums and experiencing the elegant atmosphere of autumn?
