Shinjuku Historical Museum 新宿歴史博物館

12-16 Saneicho, Yotsuya, Shinjuku City, Tokyo

About 20 minutes on foot from Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, the Shinjuku Historical Museum exhibits artifacts pertaining to the area. In the permanent collection, you can learn about the history of Shinjuku and discover literary figures connected with the area. Alternatively, the museum also hosts special exhibitions.
