Edogawa City Shizen Zoo 江戸川区自然動物園

Gyosen Park, 3-2-1 Kita-Kasai, Edogawa City, Tokyo

A neighborhood zoo filled with little animals for little people

The Edogawa City Shizen Zoo is a must-visit if you are traveling with young children. While it may not have any lions or bears, it has all of the little animals that children love. Penguins and prairie dogs make up just a few of the zoos cute and cuddly critters. The most popular inhabitant would have to be the adorable lesser panda. The zoo's popular Fureai Corner petting area is a big hit, allowing children to come face to face with some of their favorite animals. An added bonus, admission to the zoo is free.
