Mukojima-Hyakkaen Gardens 向島百花園

3 Higashi-Mukojima, Sumida City, Tokyo

A tranquil Edo period (1603-1867) park located in central Tokyo

Located an eight minute walk from Higashi-mukojima Station in northeastern Tokyo, Mukojima-Hyakkaen Gardens is a peaceful strolling garden with meticulously manicured Japanese landscaping, and a history that goes back over 100 years.

Built during the Edo period, the park has maintained its historic ambience, providing a contrast to the modern energy of its surroundings. Wander through the park's clover tunnel where you'll be completely surrounded by lush green leaves.
