Ikenami Shotaro Memorial Museum 池波正太郎記念文庫

Taito City Lifelong Learning Center (1F) in the Taito City Central Library, 3-25-16 Nishi-asakusa, Taito City, Tokyo

This museum introduces the world of Ikenami Shotaro, a writer long associated with Taito-ku, through his works and achievements. On permanent display are some of the books and manuscripts he wrote, along with some of his paintings, while his study has also been restored. A section dedicated to historical novels displays a selection of rare pre-war books alongside more contemporary popular novels.
