Sunshine City opened in 1978 based on the concept of a “complex city” that incorporates all the urban facilities required for an attractive urban lifestyle. It remains one of the largest facilities housed in one group of buildings within Japan.Features include a shopping zone, comprised of stores and restaurants, as well as amusement offerings such as an observatory, an aquarium, and Namja Town.
