The International Library of Children's Literature provides library services related to international children's literature on an international level. Their activities are based on the principle that 'Children's books link the world and open up the future!' The Brick Building, constructed in 1906 as the Imperial Library, is designated as an historical building of Tokyo. In 2015 a new Arch Building was added to the complex.

By car:
5 minutes from Metropolitan Expressway Ueno Line Ueno Exit. *No parking lot. Please let us know individually for the one who are disabled.

From Haneda Airport:
Haneda Airport->(Tokyo Monorail)->Hamamatsucho->(JR Yamanote Line bound for Tokyo area)->Ueno->10 minutes by foot from Ueno Koen exit.

By train:
10 minutes on foot from Park exit, JR Ueno Station. 15 minutes on foot from Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line/Ginza Line Ueno Station.

By bus:
Taito City round route bus Tozai Megurin
Get on at Ueno-eki/Ueno Koen-> Get off at Kuongakukakko sogakudo (ex-music school odeum) and walk for 2 minutes. Toei Bus Ue26 Ueno Koen ⇔Kameidoekimae Get off at Yanaka and walk for 5 minutes.
