The Togoshi Ginza Shopping District is located next to Togoshi-Ginza Station on the Tokyu Ikegami Line. At 1.3 kilometers in length, it is one of the longest shopping districts in the Kanto region. It represents a confederation of three promotion organizations, namely the Togoshi Ginza Shoeikai Shotengai, the Togoshi Ginza Shotengai, and the Togoshi Ginza Roku Shotengai.

There are roughly 400 shops lining this lively shopping street, which is visited by over 10,000 customers every weekday. The mascot character Togoshi Ginjiro (“Gin-chan” for short), who appears at various district events and is a favorite with children.

The allure of the Togoshi Ginza Shopping District can be attributed the area's energetic shop owners, who have come up with distinctive Togoshi Ginza brands for the district and developed several hit products. With the completion of the underground electric cable work and accompanying IT infrastructure installation in 2016, it has transformed into a “ubiquitous shopping district,” which should further enhance the attractiveness of this shopping arcade.
