Setagaya Ume (Plum Blossom) Festival せたがや梅まつり

2024-2-10 - 2024-3-3

On weekends and public holidays during the Setagaya Plum Blossom Festival, you can enjoy cultural events that are fun and traditional. These include koto (a historic instrument) performances, haiku classes, outdoor tea ceremonies, and mochi (rice cake) pounding. There are refreshment booths, as well as stalls dedicated to horticulture and potted plants. The festival is a great opportunity to try a variety of traditional plum-flavored treats, including yokan jelly and daifuku (stuffed rice cake).
