Maehama Beach

Kozushima Island, three and a half hours by jet ferry from JR Hamamatsucho Station and the westernmost of the Izu Islands, is a popular destination for its mystical view of the beautiful sandy areas and the ponds at the peak of Mt. Tenjo, and marine activities in the sparkling deep-green sea.
Another unique aspect of the island is the people, who live and work adhering to traditional Japanese customs.
