The Izu Oshima Volcano Museum is one of the few museums throughout the world that is dedicated to volcanoes. This unique museum contains exhibition rooms (on the 'front line' of volcanoes, volcano travel journals throughout the world, and a volcano 'encyclopedia'), a 300-seat video hall that shows digital cinema films with intense images of human lifestyles and the beautiful nature of Oshima, and an eight-seat simulator capsule that allows visitors to 'explore' the inside of volcanoes.
