The goal of the Pacific Cultural Arts Festival is to enhance cultural communication between Japan and the Pacific Islands by providing a place to experience and directly encounter the performing arts and culture of islands throughout the entire Pacific Ocean region.
1. Booths: Exhibitions by tourist bureaus and embassies from Pacific Island countries
Marshall Islands embassy/national tourist bureau, Fiji embassy/national tourist bureau, Federated States of Micronesia embassy/national tourist bureau, Vanuatu embassy/national tourist bureau, Papua New Guinea embassy/national tourist bureau, Palau embassy/national tourist bureau, Samoa embassy, Tahiti national tourist bureau
2. Booths: Sales and displays of local specialty products and folk crafts from the Pacific Islands, Micronesian craft workshops
3. Booths: Introductions of traditional foods by embassies from Pacific Island countries
4. Special stage shows: Performances of folk music and dance from Pacific Island countries
Papua New Guinea: Sing Sing Dance (traditional folk dancing)
Cook Islands: Traditional folk dancing by Miss Cook
Fiji: Traditional folk dancing by USB
Samoa: 'Ava ceremony and fire knife dance
5. Special stage shows: Earthquake reconstruction, special Island Summit goodwill ambassadors, hula girl performances
6. Special stage shows: Eisa (traditional Okinawan dance) performances
7. Special stage shows: Performances by Japanese people who love Pacific performing arts
