Note: The 2023 installment of this event has already taken place.
Azabu-Juban combines old town atmosphere, soaring modern skyscrapers, and a host of embassies to create a unique international vibe.
For more than 50 years now, the Azabu-Juban Shopping Arcade, the pillar of this energetic neighborhood, has hosted the Azabu-Juban Noryo Festival. "Noryo" means "cool of the evening," and noryo festivals are a Japanese summer tradition.
In 2023, festival will be held for the first time in four years. Famous local stores and new favorites set up impressive booths for the event. There will also be side events such as the "Oragakuni Jiman" market, featuring an array of local specialties from all over Japan; traditional Japanese summer comedy acts; and performances on the "10-BANG" stage. It's a perfect way to spend the evening as a family.
