The TOKYO PHOTOGRAPHIC ART MUSEUM was Japan’s first art museum dedicated to photography and videos. It consists of three exhibition galleries (2F, 3F, B1F) and a hall (1F), and houses a collection of some 34,000 works, 43,807 books, and 1,775 magazine titles. The museum organizes more than 20 exhibitions a year, from solo shows of celebrated photographers from Japan and abroad to the latest films.The library on the 4th floor allows visitors to view photo collections at no charge. The range of facilities also includes a shop and cafe.
