The Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum was built in 1993 as an annex of the Edo-Tokyo Museum. It has an area of approximately seven hectares. This museum contains historical buildings with great cultural value that were relocated, preserved, and displayed here because they could not be preserved in their original locations. The goal of this museum is to pass this important cultural heritage to future generations.

By bus:**
5 minutes by bus from JR Chuo Line Musashi-koganeiStation north exit.
Take a Seibu bus from bus terminal no.2 and no.3. Get off at the bus stop Koganeikoen nishiguchi (west gate) and walk for 5 minutes.
Take a Kanto bus from bus terminal no.4. Get off at the bus stop Edo-Tokyo Tatemonoenmae (Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum) and walk for 3 minutes.
5 minutes by bus from Seibu Shinjuku Line Hanakoganei Station.
Take a Seibu bus bound for Musashi-koganei eki from Minami Hanakoganei noriba (along the Koganei Kaido). Get off at the bus stop Koganeikoen nishiguchi (west gate) and walk for 5 minutes.
