Note: The 2023 installment of this event has already taken place.

As its name suggests, Horikiri Shobuen Iris Garden has long been famous for its iris flowers, inspiring artists such as Utagawa Hiroshige and Utagawa Toyokuni. It is home to 6,000 iris plants representing approximately 200 varieties.

Mizumoto Park is the only park in Tokyo with a large irrigation pond that offers captivating seasonal views. Around 14,000 iris flowers of 100 varieties will be in bloom this season. This year, the Iris Festival will be held in both parks, featuring shows and parades during the weekend, lights displays at night, and more.
