The theater is the only in the world dedicated to kabuki, and stages kabuki performances year round. The renovated building inherits the traditionally dazzling design of the original while being newly equipped with barrier-free functions. Behind it stands a building with a noble exterior befitting the Ginza streetscape that’s home to the new landmark.
