Take a tour of the historic Bank of Japan Head Office building

The Bank of Japan Head Office is Japan's first ever Western-style brick masonry building, completed in 1896. Today, it's the sole institution responsible for issuing Japanese currency. With a reservation, you can take a tour of the stately three-story old building and see its underground safe area, old business offices, historical exhibition room, and current sales office. The Bank of Japan Head Office is a short walk from Tokyo Station.
