Jindai Botanical Gardens, reminiscent of the Musashino region of old, provide a place for enjoying the beauty of trees, grasses, and flowers throughout the seasons. Spring and autumn see the blooming of some 5,000 roses, delivering the pleasure of various colors, shapes, and aromas. The large greenhouse, renovated in May 2016, displays rare tropical plants and other colorful flowers year round.

Area: 488,196.52 m2 (some areas are state-owned property provided under gratuitous loan)
Trees: 100,000 of 4,800 species / Grass: 14,000 m2
Main plants: Cherry, Japanese apricot, camellia, sasanqua, ornamental peaches, dogwood, rose, azalea, peony, water lily, Japanese bush clover, begonia, konara oak, Japanese zelkova, greenhouse plants
Events: Botanical exhibitions, lectures, events

By train:Take the Keio Bus from Tsutsujigaoka Station on the Keio Line. Get off the bus for Shindaiji at Jindai Shokubutsu-koen-mae

By bus:- From Keio Line Chofu Station, take the Odakyu Bus for Kichijoji or Mitaka, or the Keio Bus for Jindaijiand, get off at the Jindai-shokubutsu-koen-mae stop
- From Mitaka Station or Kichijoji Station on the JR Chuo Line, take the Odakyu Bus for Chofu Station North Exit or for Jindaijiand and get off at the Jindai-shokubutsu-koen-mae stop
