Prestigious office landmark and historical monument

Overlooking Tokyo Station, the Marunouchi Building is a stately skyscraper that houses many financial tenants and some of the area's best retail. Browse the building's many shops, sample delicacies at the food hall or restaurants and catch a performance at the multipurpose hall to really enjoy what Marunouchi has to offer.

Redeveloped in 2002 and colloquially known as Marubiru, the Marunouchi Building was first developed in 1923 by the Mitsubishi group. Famous for originally surviving the Great Kanto Earthquake later that year and the World War II fire bombings, wander through its lower shopping floors, which recreate the external appearance of the initial building, to get a sense of history.
