Every year, a huge crowd flocks to the Bon-odori dance festival held in Hibiya Park, a Tokyo oasis.
Employees of businesses in the Marunouchi and Hibiya areas and local residents form circle upon circle around the park fountain and dance to the "Marunouchi Ondo" (Marunouchi song). This was composed in 1932 by Yaso Saijo and Shinpei Nakayama, and is the basis for the famous Bon-odori song, "Tokyo Ondo."
Enjoy summer in Japan at one of the biggest Bon-odori festivals in Tokyo, where everyone is welcome.
