Eco Edo Nihombashi

The summer cool felt with all five senses

The event organized each summer under the theme “Edo Cool” offers numerous events for guests to enjoy in a yukata gown. From yukata dressing lessons to cruises in the cool of the night in boats decorated with goldfish-shaped paper lanterns, all events are designed to suit the setting of Nihombashi.

Nihombashi-Kyobashi Festival

Traditional dances from across Japan

The festival has been organized each October for more than 40 years since 1973. Some 2,000 performers of traditional Japanese dance, fife and drum corps, and more parade through Chuo-dori, the main street of Nihombashi, and liven up the crowd with music and dance.
