Antenna shops run by familiar Japanese snack makers and theme parks showcasing a collection of sweets by famous confectioners are growing in popularity for serving fresh-made sweets. Check out the gift items they offer too, ranging from snacks available nowhere else to professional cooking utensils!

Tokyo Okashi Land

Tokyo Okashi Land presents antenna shops run by three major Japanese snack makers: Ezaki Glico, Calbee, and Morinaga. They all offer limited-edition products. Plus, Glico-ya Kitchen prepares Almond Chocolate, and Calbee+ the signature potato chips, right before your eyes. Morinaga’s Okashina Okashiya-san (quirky candy shop) also sells fresh-made snacks along with kits for making them at home, and sometimes demonstrates neat ways to enjoy the chewy candy Hi-Chew.

Jiyugaoka Sweets Forest

Jiyugaoka Sweets Forest is a theme park inviting visitors to compare sweets freshly made by super pâtissiers. On the first floor is Cuoca, a store carrying some 3,500 ingredients and cooking utensils for Western confectionery and bread.
